Chad Armstrong, MBA, B.Eng
Mr. Armstrong has over 15 years of experience in software development, product management, strategy and business consulting. He led the team who designed and developed the Clinical Practice Guideline platform for the National Comprehensive Cancer Network. He is an expert in the field of Business Process Management (BPM) software, having helped numerous fortune 500 companies successfully architect their improvement and automation initiatives. In 2006, Chad received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from INSEAD, having previously obtained his Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from McGill.
Mr. Levi was the co-founder, chairman and CEO of Interfacing Technologies since 1983, until its recent acquisition by Odesia. Under his leadership, the company became a global player in the field of Business Process Management (BPM) and Governance software.Today, Meir Levi is the Senior Vice President of Business Development & Chief Scientific Officer at Odesia. Mr. Levi served on the board of CPLQ between 1997 and 2000, which is now the the Quebec Technology Association. Meir holds engineering degrees from the Technion Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel (B.Sc.) and from McGill University, Montreal (M.Eng).
Donald W. Simborg, MD
Dr. Simborg was the co-founder of HL7 and founding member of AMIA’s College of Medical Informatics. He founded and is the former CEO of two EHR companies, both of which were sold. He has served as a member of the Computer Science and Telecommunications Board of the National Research Council, National Academy of Sciences. He has served on the boards of the Foundation on Research and Education, American Health Information Management Association and HL7. He currently consults with venture capitalists, start-up healthcare IT companies, and provider organizations regarding healthcare IT. Donald received his MD degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine
Nathaniel Bouganim, MD
Dr. Bouganim is a Medical Oncologist working at the McGill University Health Network, and previously held the position of Chief Medical Officer for an oncology-based EHR. He has received numerous awards and grants for his clinical and research achievements. Nathaniel completed his medical and specialty training for Internal Medicine at McGill University and completed his sub-specialty training in Breast Cancer at the University of Ottawa.
Farzad Kohantorabi, M.Eng
Mr. Kohantorabi is a software engineer with more than 15 years of industry experience with the likes of Morgan Stanley, Bank of Montreal, and Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. Farzad specializes in design and implementation of scalable and distributed enterprise systems, agile methodologies, and cloud computing.
